What you'll do
- Design and own the services that compute money figures deterministically, so models never produce a number.
- Build the Proof Record pipeline, Reason, Verify, Action, Outcome, as immutable, auditable records.
- Integrate with bank-authoritative data sources across multiple regions and currencies.
- Make approval and reversal flows safe, fast, and impossible to bypass.
- Partner with risk and compliance to keep records examiner-ready.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years building backend systems in production, ideally with money or other high-stakes data.
- Strong instincts for correctness, idempotency and auditability over cleverness.
- Comfort with distributed systems, event-driven design and strong typing.
- Care for the human stakes of financial software, and for explaining your reasoning.
- Bonus: experience with banking rails, multi-currency, or regulated environments.
