Learn · Diaspora

Two countries, one plan.

Earning in pounds or dollars while supporting people in naira is its own discipline. Four pieces, in plain words.

1 · Make support a scheduleDecide the monthly amount once, reserve it on payday, send on the same date. Predictability is the kindest thing you can send.
2 · Learn to read an FX quoteThe honest price is the mid-market rate plus a stated fee. Any quote that hides the fee inside the rate is charging you more than it says.
3 · Know your account optionsNon-resident and domiciliary accounts let you hold and move money at home properly, worth the paperwork if you send often.
4 · Mind both tax picturesPersonal support is generally not taxable for the receiver in Nigeria, but your residence country’s rules on transfers and income still apply, keep records of what you send.

The corridor, handled

Qoyla’s UK corridor does the mechanics: reserves support before discretionary spend, compares the real cost of each route, and seals a record both ends can open, so “did it arrive?” becomes a link, not a phone call.

Sending from the UK?

The corridor page shows it working.
